First prepare your lips by exfoliating them.
It costs nothing, you probably already have the ingredients in your home.
How To Do Makeup with Nude Lipstick
Exfoliate your lips (use the technique in the video above). Exfoliation will get rid of dry, flaky skin, and leave your lips soft.
Moisturize your lips with lip balm.
Let's start adding some definition to your lips. Your lips will look flat, and one dimensional without adding some definition.
Apply a dab of concealer in the corner of lips. This will make the skin around your lips look more supple, and full.
We need to add a little more definition to the lips. Dab your natural lips with facial foundation, or face primer like everyday minerals. This will ensure a long lasting lip application, decrease feathering, and add definition.
For a natural make up look, apply your favorite nude lipstick.
If you use lipgloss apply it now. Ensure the lipgloss is clear or the same color as the lipstick. If you like the matte look, do not apply lipgloss.
Over the lip gloss, line your lips with a lipliner in the same hue as your foundation, or one shade darker.
Smudge your lips together, blending the lipstick and liner.
Check your lips, and clean up any overage.
Using Concealer as a Nude Lipstick
Some people skip buying lipstick, and use their concealer as a nude lipstick. Here's how they do it:
Apply your lipliner, same shade as your foundation, or 1-2 shades darker.
Select a liquid moisturizing concealer that is 1-2 shades darker than your skin tone.
A moisturizing concealer will ensure your lips do not get that caked on affect. You want your lips to stay soft, and smooth.
Using a lip brush, blend the concealer into the lipliner.
For a matte finish your done, for a glossy finish apply lip gloss, for a high-gloss finish apply lip glass.
